Counting from east to west, the windows depict:

Baptism of Christ.

3, right: Jesus blessing little children (see Matthew 19:13-15; Mark 10:13-16; Luke 18:15-17). This window is one of the oldest stained glass windows at Grace, installed in 1909.

2, left: Jesus presented in the Temple (see Luke 2:22-38). This window is dedicated to Charles Seabury, whose family supported Grace in many ways over the years. It was installed in 1911.

The stained glass windows in the baptistry are all by the London stained-glass manufacturer, Heaton, Butler, and Bayne, a successor firm of William Morris’ studio.

5, below: Baptism of St. Paul (see Acts 9:1-19). This window was given in honor of the tenth anniversary of the rectorate of the Rev. Francis Godolphin, who served Grace from 1913 to 1930. This window was dedicated in 1923.

4, left: Baptism of Christ (see Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 3:21-22). This window was given by the congregation in memory of Charles Patrick Anderson, who died in World War I. It was installed in 1920.

Charles Patrick Anderson was the only son of the Rev. Charles Palmerston Anderson, who had been rector of Grace from 1898 to 1900, and then served as assistant bishop of Chicago (1900-1905) and bishop of Chicago (1905-1930). He was elected Presiding Bishop of the national church in November of 1929 but died in January 1930.
